John F. Bild Eagle Project Grants

The ESA has designated profits from the Trivia Night to provide Grants for the Eagle Scout Projects.  These grants are awarded based on their effect on the community along with their uniqueness, quality, and financial needs of the project. Since this programs inception, we have awarded over $3,800.00 towards Eagle Scout projects. Typical grants range from $50.00 - $200.00, with our average grant size being approximately $100.00. Grants will be awarded in the form of Gift Cards or checks for reimbursement of materials.  Scouts wishing to apply for a grant must meet the following criteria:

• Scouts must be a part of the Greater St. Louis Area Council
• Projects must be first approved by their District's Eagle Board.

Application Deadline

All grant applications are due on the 15th of the month to be consider and awarded by the first week the next month (i.e. If you submit your application on January 15th.  Your application will be reviewed at the January committee meeting and will be awarded by the first week in February.)

Instructions for applying for the ESA Eagle Scout Project Grants

• Complete the ESA Grant Application
• Attach a copy of Part 1 (Project Proposal) of your Project Workbook including all required signatures found on Eagle Scout Project Proposal Page E.
• Part 2 (Project Plan) of your Project Workbook (Project Plan) must be filled out completely and attach to your application.
• Attach any additional information you would like for the committee to consider

INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
